Beaches in Pangasinan at full capacity on Good Friday


DAGUPAN CITY – Several beaches in Pangasinan were at full capacity on Good Friday, the Pangasinan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said.

The PDRRMO said the Tondol White Sand Beach in Anda reached maximum capacity at 7 a.m.

The Anda Tourism Office said that cottages and bamboo sheds were also full.

Tondol accommodations until Easter Monday are fully booked.

As the beach in Bolinao was brimming with beachgoers, the tourism office suggested to incoming tourists and guests to visit other tourist attractions in the municipality such as caves, rock formations, and the Bolinao Falls.

The Patar Public Beach in Bolinao reached maximum capacity at around 8 a.m.

The PDRRMO said  beaches in Bolinao were 100 percent full; Anda, 100 percent; Sual, 60 percent; Dagupan City, 70 percent; Binmaley, 90 percent; Agno,  100 percent; Bani, 50 percent; Infanta, 10 percent; Lingayen, 90 percent, and San Fabian, 50 percent, on Friday morning.

Traffic as of 9 a.m. in Sual, Binmaley, Bayambang, Sison, and San Fabian was normal and light to moderate in Bolinao, Labrador, Manaoag, Pozzurubio, and Mangaldan.
