1,500 Central Luzon cops tapped to secure Holy Week

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office (PRO)-3 has deployed over 1,500 policemen to secure the Holy Week and “summer” vacation in Central Luzon. They are backed up by 1,500 force multipliers and augmentation troops from other law enforcement units. They are deployed to places of worship, convergence areas, major roads, pilgrimage sites, and tourist destinations. PRO-3 said close coordination has been made with other concerned agencies to guarantee peace and order during the observance of Holy Week and summer vacation.
