PRO-Cordillera awards 6 cops for arresting fugitives in Benguet
LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The Police Regional Office-Cordillera has awarded six police officers from the Benguet Provincial Police Office for the recent arrest of six fugitives in the province.
Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., PRO-Cordillera chief, awarded them during his first command visit on April 4. He was assisted by Col. Damian Olsim, Benguet police director, and other members of the Benguet PPO Command Group.
The Medalya ng Kagalingan (Medal of Merit) was given to Police Major Joshua Mateo and Police Corporal Blanco Agagon Jr. of the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station for the successful arrest of an individual listed as the No. 7 Most Wanted Person on the Provincial Level for the first quarter of this year in Baguio City.
Police Master Sgt. Mark Saoyao and Police Patrolman Rhodallyn Dagman of the Tuba MPS also received the same medal for apprehending a murder suspect with a warrant for murder issued by the Community Corrections Officer of the Braunschweig County Court of Germany in Tuba.
The Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) was awarded to Police Staff Sgt. Jasmin Apple Salve and Police Corporal Mambi Fuchigami of the Itogon MPS for the arrest of an individual for acts of lasciviousness in relation to Republic Act 7610Â in Itogon, Benguet.
