New restaurant complex opens at Montemaria Shrine

AbaCore Capital Holdings Inc. (“AbaCore”), a holding company involved in sectors such as real estate, finance, and mining, has opened a restaurant complex in Montemaria Shrine, a pilgrimage center in Batangas dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Featuring a spectacular view of the Batangas Bay, this dining spot is an idyllic location to visit with family and friends. It features a coffee shop called JKh Cafe and an authentic Chinese restaurant currently in soft opening.
Over the next few months, various restaurants will be added such as a Chinese hotpot outlet.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the opening of the restaurant complex. Those who graced the ceremony include AbaCore Capital Holdings Inc. president, chairman, and CEO Raul B. de Mesa, Batangas Governor Hermilando “Dodo” Mandanas, Vice Governor Jose Antonio “Mark” Sermonia Leviste II, and Fluvion president Guoan Wu.
“With many Filipinos set to observe the Holy Week, we want them to also mark the event as an opportunity to spend time with their families,” said Antonio VF Gregorio III, vice chairman of AbaCore. “With Filipinos visiting the Montemaria Shrine every year during this time, we aim for the restaurant complex to be a destination where they can relax after a busy day.”
Governor Mandanas cited the availability of more job opportunities for the Batangueńos with the opening of the restaurant complex. “I am confident that this will also help boost local tourism and benefit small and medium enterprises in the province,” he added.
