2 high-value individuals yield P374K 'shabu' in Calamba

LAGUNA – Authorities arrested two high-value individuals (HVIs) in a buy-bust operation in Calamba City on Tuesday, April 4. A statement from Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the suspects as alias Mohammad and alias Pamela, both residents of Dasmariñas City, Cavite. Confiscated from the suspects were three plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” with an estimated street value of P374,000, a coin purse containing P1,000, buy-bust money, and a sedan. Alias Mohammad and alias Pamela are now under the custody of Calamba City Police Station and are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The pieces of evidence, on the other hand, were submitted to the crime laboratory for forensic examination.
