Parañaque Mayor Olivarez suspends work at City Hall on Wednesday
Â
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez ordered a half-day work suspension for employees of the local government on Wednesday, April 5, in observance of Holy Week.
The announcement was pursuant to the order declared by Malacañang to suspend work in government offices starting 12 p.m. on Wednesday.
Â
Olivarez said that Memorandum Circular No. 16 issued last March 31 seeks to provide government employees an opportunity to observe Holy Week and allow them to travel to and from the different regions in the country.Â
Â
He said five offices will remain open during the observance of Lenten season to continue the services to the residents.
The said offices are the Health Emergency Management Services (HEMS), district hospitals Ospital ng Parañaque (OsPar) 1 and 2; Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO), Public Safety Services Division (PSSD), Civil Security Unit, and Parañaque Traffic Management Office (TPMO).
