On Easter Sunday, Filipinos got a bit of a breather as single-day recoveries outnumbered the number of new cases, and only two fatalities were reported by the Department of Health (DOH).

Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal, or the National Capital Region (NCR)-Plus, gird up for another week of enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) even as the government musters its resources to distribute ‘ayuda’ to persons affected by the lockdown.
