Happy Easter!

As expected, the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) imposed in the so-called National Capital Region (NCR)-Plus Bubble was extended by the national government for another week as restrictions implemented in the past week were deemed insufficient to arrest the alarming increase in the number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the country.

This decision was arrived at after more than 12,000 cases were reported on Saturday, April 3, 2021, that jacked up the number of active cases to 165,715.
