Mandaluyong City ramps up COVID-19 vaccination; senior citizens get jabs on March 29
Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos on Thursday, March 25, said the city has ramped up its vaccination drive and will start inoculating next week senior citizens.

Abalos visited several vaccination centers in the city to check on the progress of the vaccination campaign.
She went to Pedro P. Cruz Elementary School, Hulo Integrated School, and Isaac Lopez Integrated School vaccination centers as the city's health care workers are being given the AstraZeneca vaccine.
She also led the distribution of several TV monitors for the vaccination centers.
According to data obtained by the Manila Bulletin from the Mandaluyong City City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU), there are now 4,125 health care workers who have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
The city government targets to complete the vaccination of all health care workers by Monday, March 29.
It also plans to kickoff the vaccination drive for the city's senior citizens, the second in the Department of Health's (DOH) prioritization list, on the same date.
