Water service interruptions to hit Pasig, San Juan, QC on May 2 to 5
There will be water service interruptions in parts of Quezon City, Pasig City, and San Juan City from May 2 to 5, announced the Manila Water company.
Areas in Barangays Pinagbuhatan (specifically Munting Bahayan, Bolante 1 and 2, Caruncho 1, Acacia Daycare, Jabson, and Acacia Bungad), Palatiw (St. Paul Compound, Habitat), Maybunga, Rosario, and Sagad (J. Feliciano Street, and Sagad Elementary) in Pasig City will experience the water service interruptions from 10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, to 4 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3.
On the same date and time, the portions within Barangays Silangan, Quirino 3-A, Duyan-duyan, Matandang Balara, and Damayang Lagi in Quezon City; as well as Barangays Balong Bato, West Crame, and Bagong Lipunan ng Crame in San Juan City will be affected.
Various other barangays in Quezon City will have no water from Wednesday, May 3 to Friday, May 5. The service interruptions will take effect in Barangays San Vicente, Pinyahan, and Bagong Pag-asa from 10 p.m. on May 3 until 4 a.m. on May 4, and in Matandang Balara, Up Village, and Teachers Village West from 10 p.m. on May 4 to 4 a.m. on May 5.
From 10 p.m. on May 4 to 4 a.m. on May 5, residents in Barangay West Crame in San Juan City will also experience the disruptions.
According to Manila Water, personnel will conduct maintenance activities such as line maintenance and replacement, along with line meter and strainer declogging operations near the aforementioned areas.
The water concessionaire advised residents to store enough water prior to the service interruptions.
