Korean show 'Jinny's Kitchen' ends business operations, earns highest sales in episode 10
Episode 10 of the unscripted Korean show “Jinny’s Kitchen” (aka “Seojin’s”) was broadcast on April 28 which saw the last day of operations of the Korean street food restaurant in Bacalar, Mexico.
Aired on tvN in South Korea and streamed globally on Prime Video, “Jinny’s Kitchen” stars Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-jun, Choi Woo-shik and BTS’ V.

In episode 10, the team of stars held their last day of running the restaurant and also resulted in garnering the highest daily sales of 12,070 Mexican pesos (about $670.54). According to Nielsen Korea, episode 10 of “Jinny’s Kitchen” garnered a nationwide rating of 7.898 percent in South Korea, compared to 8.402 percent for episode 9, maintaining its No. 1 spot on paid platform subscription households (cable, IPTV and satellite). Based on the number of viewers, “Jinny’s Kitchen” episode 10 was watched by 1.859 million people in South Korea, compared to 1.921 million for the previous episode.

On the target audience of 20 to 49 age range, “Jinny’s Kitchen” recorded an average rating of 4.1 percent, peaking at 4.8 percent, in the metropolitan area, and 3.7 percent, peaking at 4.3 percent, nationwide, ranking first in the same time slot for all channels. In the metropolitan area (Seoul, Gyeong-gi and Incheon) in South Korea, episode 10 received a rating of 9.562 percent, compared to 9.913 for episode 9. It was watched by 1.079 million people, compared to 1.115 million for episode 9. A preview of next week’s episode airing on May 5 showed the cast answering questions from viewers.
