Four detainees under police custody in Zamboanga escape

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Four detainees escaped from a detention center inside a Zamboanga City police station on Saturday, April 29. Police Lt. Col. Paul Andrew Cortes, Zamboanga City police information officer, said the four fugitives are facing drug charges. Cortes identified the four escapees as Ronnel Bernardo Napalcruz, 25; Rogen Malupay Ocampo, 22; Paul Luna Damasain, 24, and Raymond Guantick Fernandez, 38. The four were reportedly able to escape by cutting the bars of their detention cell. Police are conducting manhunt operations to arrest the four escapees.
