298 police trainees formally admitted to Cordillera PNP


ITOGON, Benguet – A total of 298 police trainees were formally recognized by the Police Regional Office-Cordillera in a ceremony held at the Cordillera Administrative Region Training Center (CARTC) Annex, Philex Mines, here, on Thursday, April 27.

PRO-Cordillera Director Police Brig. Gen.  David Peredo Jr. led the recognition rites for the 298 police trainees,
100 of them trainees of the Aviation Security Group (AVSEG). They underwent Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) at CARTC, Teacher's Camp in Baguio City.

Present during the event were Police Lt. Col. Avelino Garrido Jr., acting chief of CARTC, the training staff, families and friends of the trainees, and other PRO-Cordillera personnel.

Peredo led the opening of collars and rolling of sleeves of the police trainees which symbolized that they are already recognized as part of the PNP organization.

He extended his congratulations to the police trainees for their hard work and sacrifices leading them to the momentous event.

Peredo urged them to be guided by his three-fold agenda or the DKP which stands for “Disiplina at Dasal, Kakayahan at Kaunlaran, at may Pagmamahal at Pagtupad sa Tungkulin.”
