Miles Ocampo on kissing KaladKaren, Enchong Dee

Not a kid anymore. "Goin' Bulilit" alumna Miles Ocampo has turned into a fine, brave actress. Now in her mid-20s, Miles is open to doing offbeat roles. In her upcoming movie "Here Comes the Groom," Miles portrays lead star Enchong Dee's character's fiancee, Yumi. A day prior to their character's wedding, Junior's soul will be switched with that of Kaladkaren's Wilhelmina, a transgender woman. In the said official entry to the first Summer edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival, Miles gets to kiss both Enchong and Kaladkaren. In a recent interview, the former child star was asked how it was to kiss both. She shared, laughing, “Kay Enchong, sakto lang. Dun ako kay Karen, charing!" Kaladkaren reacted, quipping: “Kung paano si Enchong dun kay Yumi, ganung-ganun ang feeling ko! ‘Paano ko kaya gagawin ito?!’" She's referring to a scene where Yumi was making a move on her character. Kaladkaren continued: “Parang I never kissed a girl in my life! Pero yun nga, sorry, ha… ano, ha, Miles, ako talaga ang nahalikan mo sa big screen!" “Pero I’m very thankful na si Miles yun kasi very generous din siya na sabi ko, ‘Teh, iki-kiss kita mamaya!’ ‘Oo, teh, kaya natin ‘yan!’ Okay, go! Uhm! Laban! Nilaban namin!” Kaladkaren and Miles' kissing scenes apparently took six takes. “Pero nag-enjoy naman ako, ano! Nag-enjoy ako! Parang… ahhhh!!!,” Kaladkaren quipped, screaming. Meanwhile, Miles talked about her trying on mature roles. “Ilang beses na pong nangyari sa akin, like may io-offer, tatawagan ako, pagka-end po ng call, tatawag ulit. ‘Ah, may kissing scene pala ito, ha?’ Parang ako, iniisip pa rin nila na hindi ako puwede," she shared. “Matanda na po ako," she reiterated, laughing. "So, kung okay talaga for the story, kung kinakailangan talaga at hinihingi, game naman po ako." More than anything, Miles pointed out that she's a fan of director Chris Martinez. "Parang napanood ko po yung mga pelikula niya, lalo na yung 'Here Comes The Bride,'" she related. “In-explain pa lang po ni Atty. (Joji Alonso; producer) na para itong 'Here Comes The Bride,' gusto ko pong sabihin, ‘Attorney, huwag mo na pong i-explain! Yes na po ako!’ Pero ayun… sobrang nakakatuwa na naisip po nila ako para sa role nung bride.”

Recall that early this year Miles trended on social media after featuring in a rape scene on the pilot episode of "FPJ’s Batang Quiapo."
