Former drug surrenderer falls in Negros buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY – A former drug surrenderer was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Consing, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental on Saturday, April 1. Police confiscated 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000 from Ricky Arquibel, 42, of Barangay Consing. Major Kenneth Gratones, E.B. Magalona police chief, said the suspect was under the drugs watchlist of the barangay. He previously surrendered to the police but failed to participate in the community-based drug rehabilitation program, according to Gratones. Arquibel was a street-level individual, according to the police.
