2 women arrested for shoplifting in Pasay City

Two women were arrested for shoplifting women's accessories from a mall in Pasay City on Sunday, April 2. Pasay City police chief Col. Froilan Uy identified the suspects as Celine Isabel Galutera, 24, and her sister Kim Charmaine,19. Uy said the suspects were arrested at SM Department Store at Mall of Asia Complex located in Barangay 76, Zone 10, Pasay City. Mall security guard Nelsie Paran noticed the suspects placing lady accessories inside a brown tote bag and leaving the department store without paying for the products. Paran reportedly followed the suspects and asked for their receipts but failed to show any proof of their purchase. The suspects were immediately brought to the Customer Relation Office of the mall for the inventory of the recovered items and were later brought to police Sub-Station 10 in MOA. Police recovered from the suspects one Helga tote bag worth P499.00;  five Sunnies Studios sunglasses worth P2,975; one BLK skin tint sun shield worth P499.00; one BLK mascara worth P349.00; one BLK lip tint worth P349, and one BLK lip palm worth P399 for a total amount of P5,120.
