SDO Cagayan cops CAVRAA 2023 overall crown

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – The Schools Division Office (SDO) Cagayan emerged as the overall champion in the recent Cagayan Valley Regional Athletic Association (CAVRAA) Meet 2023 in Ilagan City, Isabela. Cagayan SDO has bagged the overall crown for the fifth year in a row. SDO Cagayan pocketed 304 medals – 105 golds, 28 silvers, and 101 bronzes. SDO Isabela was second, SDO Nueva Vizcaya, third; SDO Santiago City, fourth; and SDO City of Ilagan, fifth. SDO Cagayan athletes will receive their incentives from Gov. Manuel Mamba soon. The provincial government has allocated P21 million for the CAVRAA and the National Games where Cagayan athletes will also participate.
