Man arrested for illegal gun possession in Muntinlupa

A 48-year-old man was arrested by the police for illegal possession of a gun and ammunition in Muntinlupa on April 28.  Members of the Muntinlupa police’s Intelligence Section were conducting an operation against illegal activities when they saw Jomi Cos in an alley allegedly loading ammunition to a gun.  This prompted the police to arrest him.  The suspect and the gun and ammunition confiscated by the police (Photos from Muntinlupa police / SPD)
Confiscated from him were a .38-caliber revolver without a serial number and six pieces of live ammunition.  Cos will be charged for violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
