The Taguig police arrested four men and a woman who were allegedly caught holding a pot session on April 29.
Members of the Western Bicutan Police Substation 2 were conducting Oplan Galugad at about 3:30 a.m. in Purok 7, PNR Site, Barangay Western Bicutan when they saw the suspects.

The police identified the arrested suspects as Arturo Marron, 36; Nathaniel Piang, 35; Troy Minandang, 38; Mauhreen Andrade, 21; and Annuar Gana, 47. Confiscated by the police were five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 16.5 grams with an estimated value of P112,200, one aluminum strip foil, one rolled aluminum foil, two lighters, one .45-caliber pistol, one magazine of .45-caliber pistol, three pieces of live ammunition and one hand grenade. The police said Gana is linked to a series of shooting incidents in PNR Site. The suspects were arrested for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and Republic Act 9516, which amended “Presidential Decree No. 1866, as amended, entitled ‘codifying the laws on illegal/unlawful possession, manufacture, dealing in, acquisition or disposition of firearms, ammunition or explosives or instruments used in the manufacture of firearms, ammunition or explosives, and imposing stiffer penalties for certain violations thereof, and for relevant purposes.’”
