SANTA ROSA CITY, Laguna – A school and a computer shop were separately robbed by unidentified burglars that carted away 17 assorted brands of laptops on Thursday, April 27, in this city.
A report by the Santa Rosa City police said that Saint Paul and Mark School on Block 1, Lot 3, Panorama Ville in Barangay Dita lost 10 laptops to the burglars.
Victim Marcelo Ramos reported the incident to police on Thursday morning.
An investigation revealed that the robbers gained entrance by destroying the window bars at the back of the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) room. The total amount of the stolen Acer laptops was P279,500.
Also in the same barangay, the AJPCMIX Computer Parts Trading owned by Alvie Joy Sudetran lost seven assorted brands of laptops worth P71,600 to unidentified burglars.
The burglary was discovered on Thursday morning. The suspects destroyed the padlocks of the gate and rolled up the door.
Police conducted follow-up operations and investigation and reviewed the CCTV footage installed within the establishments for possible identification of the suspects.
