Robbery holdup suspects nabbed by Bulacan police

Two suspects in a robbery hold-up were arrested by police authorities in Meycauayan City, Bulacan on Thursday, April 27.
Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, identified the suspects as Jayson Valiente Empasis alias "Jayson," of No. 34 Kanluran St. Brgy. Caingin, Meycauayan City; and Leonard Tortusa Dela Cruz alias "Onad," of Blk 61 Lot 2 Magsaysay St Kamagong Upper Bicutan, Taguig City.
Police said the suspects were on board a motorcycle with improvised plate No.1301-0167836 when they were arrested.
A delivery service riderwas delivering a parcel when the suspects pointed a gun at him and declared a hold-up prompting the victim to surrender his cash.
The suspects were arrested and are now detained at Meycauayan City Police Station for inquest proceedings.
Arnedo said the Bulacan PNP has strengthened its efforts to fight crime and uphold public safety in the province, adding that this unwavering dedication was demonstrated by the prompt response to any crime, the pursuit of unlawful individuals, and the implementation of anti-crime measures.
"These actions are in accordance with the directives of Central Luzon police regional director, Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr.," he said.
