P106,000 shabu, marijuana seized from 2 men in Taguig

Two men were arrested by the police for possession of 605 grams of suspected shabu and marijuana worth P106,000 in Taguig on April 27.  The Taguig police’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) arrested Jomarie Balagat, 21, and Mike Angelo Dula, 28, in a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Sta. Recovered from the suspects were five plastic sachets containing suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing 150 grams with a value of P18,000; 20 plastic sachets containing suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing 100 grams amounting to P12,000.00; one container wrapped in packaging tape and plastic sachet containing suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing 350 grams with a value of P42,000; and five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing five grams valued at P34,000; and P500 buy-bust money.  The two suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
