BAGABAG, Nueva Vizcaya – A 45-year-old man with a criminal case was arrested in a checkpoint in Tuao North here on Thursday, April 27.
Police identified the uspect as Julius Cleto Ramirescal of P-1, Tuao South, Bagabag, who has a pending case of frustrated homicide.
Intelligence operatives of the Bagabag Municipal Police Station received information that the suspect was heading for Quirino province and was on board his sedan.
The Bagabag police, led by Police Capt. Mervin C Beadoy, immediately set up a checkpoint and successfully caught the suspect.
After flagging down the suspect’s red sedan at the checkpoint, the police served the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Leo Felix S. Domingo, acting Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 28, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.
The court recommended P120,000 bail for Ramirescal's temporary liberty.
