The cities of Las Piñas and Parañaque showcased their best of their local delicacies during the second annual "Flavors of NCR" food festival held from April 27 to 28 at the Kartilya ng Katipunan in Manila.
Paul San Miguel, head of the Las Piñas Tourism and Cultural Office (TCO) said the opening of Flavors of NCR was led by Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna, Department of Tourism-Metro Manila Regional Director Sharlene Zabala-Batin and members of the Association of Tourism Officers-NCR.

San Miguel thanked the visitors of Flavors of NCR for patronizing the food entry of the city -- Bea’s home of quality kakanin and other native delicacies and Kainan ni Basty-Jacob.
He said the city’s entry, Bea’s home of quality kakanin and other delicacies, demonstrated the best native delicacies that can be found in the city while the Kanina ni Basty-Jacob offered the best tapas known in the Metro Manila.
In Parañaque City, the tourism office showcased their best delicacies like pinipig, bibingka, Suman ni Ka Junita, Maty's Original BBQ and
Tapsilog and others.
