Salamat po," the movie's director Gabby Ramos told the fans over Facebook where he also shows another serye of the JhasDrick loveteam called "Roommates."

Although both of them do not belong to the major networks, the love team of award-winning young actress Jhassy Busran and John Heidrick Sitjar is steadily gaining a following among fans. Proof of this is the screening last March of their first movie "Home I Found In You" which was filled to capacity with  fans shrieking at every "kilig" scene of  "JhasDrick."

"Kinakabahan ako, baka di kayo tumawa, hindi kayo kiligin at baka mag-cellphone lang kayo sa loob ng sinehan; much worst, tulugan nyo ang pelikula ko. Pero ang narinig ko ay hiyawan at halakhakan. Nakahinga ako ng maluwag. Salamat po," the movie's director Gabby Ramos told the fans over Facebook where he also shows another serye of the JhasDrick loveteam called "Roommates."

(I was nervous, maybe you won't laugh, you won't be thrilled and maybe you'll just get busy with your cell phones inside the movie theater; much worse, sleep on my movie. But instead,  I heard screams and laughter. I was relieved of any anxiety. Thank you.)

The director said they still don't have a release date for "Home I Found in You" in theaters but hopefully it will happen this summer.

With his mestizo looks, John is perfect for rich kid or celebrity roles which he portrays in the movie. Jhassy, on the other hand, is more of the girl next door, down to earth and  very relatable. There are no kissing scenes (Jhassy being only 17) but the chemistry between the two is undeniable.

They do support each other in real life which makes their atmosphere on the set a very good one.

"John is passionate about his craft. Am amazed at how he internalized his character in the movie. He stayed up late into the night for that," Jhassy said in the vernacular.

John , on the other hand, says of his screen partner: " It's very easy for Jhassy to cry. There were times when I couldn't easily memorize the script, but she made sure to cover for me."

Both of them are proud of their hard work in their first movie and thanked their followers for the support. John and Jhassy are now working on the second series of "Roommates" and are getting busy with brand collaborations as well.

They are not closed to the idea of being paired with others in the future. Jhassy herself is graduating from junior high and  wants to pursue higher studies in law. John said he wants to be a musician someday.

"Home I Found In You" also stars Harvey Almoneda, Diego Llorico, Eunice Lagusad, Orlando Sol and acclaimed actor Soliman Cruz. The producer is Rems Films while the music and lyrics for the original soundtrack " Afraid For Love to Fade" is by Jose Mari Chan.

The red carpet premiere night was sponsored by Chic, University Home, Dada’s Lechon, Heelrest Salon and Spa, Atkins Import and Export, Delta Wood Product, Marco Inc., Klinaire Inc., Massive Dynamics.
