Antipolo City to host Labor Day job fair

Hundreds of jobs are being offered to applicants in the upcoming Labor Day job fair organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in partnership with the Rizal Provincial Government and the Antipolo City government on May 1, 2023. The Rizal Provincial Government and the Antipolo City Government announced the holding of the 121st Labor Day Job Fair 2023 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City on Labor Day. As of April 26, more than 30 private firms and government agencies are joining the job fair to offer mostly local employment for residents not only of Rizal Province but also for those in Region 4-A (Calabarzon). Non-Calabarzon residents may also apply, including those from nearby Metro Manila cities. The job fair, which will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ynares Center, carries the theme, “Pabahay, Bilihing Abot Presyo, Benepisyo ng Matatag na Trabaho sa Manggagawang Pilipino.” Aside from jobs, the fair also offers budget-friendly locally-sourced agricultural products with entrepreneurs coming from various parts of the region through the assistance of the Department of Agriculture. The Department of Trade and Industry’s “Diskwento Caravan” and the DOLE’s Kabuhayan Program are also joining the one-day only activity.
