PDEA dismantles drug den, seizes P82,600 shabu in Dagupan


DAGUPAN CITY, Pangasinan – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Pangasinan arrested eight drug personalities and dismantled a drug den during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bacayao Norte here on Wednesday, April 26.

PDEA-Region 1 (Ilocos) Director Joel B. Plaza identified the suspects as Ricardo P. de Vera, drug den maintainer; Fernando T. Ramos, Lea U. Miguel, Alvin C. Capua, Mayleen G. Maramba, Lorence R. Pamo Sr., Eugene R. Quintos, and Alfredo T. Guillermo III.

Seized from them were eight heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 12.03 grams worth P82,600, digital weighing scale, one bundle of empty plastic sachets, assorted drug paraphernalia, cash in different denominations amounting to P1,890,  two wallets, a motorcycle, four mobile phones, four identification cards, two pouches, and the buy-bust money.

The PDEA was backed up by the PDEA-Seaport Interdiction Unit II and Dagupan City Police Station.

Suspects face appropriate charges under Republic Act No. 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

They are detained at the PDEA-Region 1 office in San Fernando City, La Union.
