The Parañaque City government announced that the City Health Office (CHO) recorded a total of 22 active Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, April 26, amid the Alert Level 1 status in Metro Manila.
Olivarez said eight barangays in the city recorded active Covid cases, particularly in one village in District 1, and seven villages in District II.

He said the CHO recorded three new cases on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 22 compared to 19 cases on Tuesday. According to the Parañaque Public Information Office (PIO), Barangay Baclaran is the lone village in District 1 with one active Covid case. The seven villages in District II with Covid-19 cases are Barangays BF Homes - one; Marcelo Green - 5; Merville - 2; Moonwalk - 4; San Antonio - 6; San Martin De Porres - 1, and Sun Valley - 2. Olivarez urged residents to observe the minimum health and safety protocols. He also reminded them to receive vaccines and booster shots against the disease to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the city. Residents were urged to coordinate with their nearest barangay health centers to know the schedule of vaccinations against Covid-19.
