The Bulacan police on Wednesday, April 26, launched a series of anti-criminality operations in the province that resulted in the confiscation of around P138,400 worth of suspected drugs and in the arrest of 14 alleged drug dealers and nine wanted persons.
In reports to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, P68,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in Barangay Tibagan, Bustos during a joint buy-bust operation conducted by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), and Bustos police.
Seven sachets of suspected shabu and marked money were confiscated from the arrested suspect, identified as Ronald Hernandez.Â

In a separate anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay Panasahan, City of Malolos, Jojit Javier was caught with five sachets of suspected shabu, valued at P20,400.  An improvised shotgun with four 12-gauge live ammunition was also confiscated from him. Several drug sting operations were carried out by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Meycauayan City, Guiguinto, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulakan, Plaridel, and Baliwag City which led to the arrest of 12 drug suspects. Some 36 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of almost P50,000 were confiscated from the suspects Nine felons wanted for various crimes and offenses were arrested by the tracker teams of the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, Meycauayan City, Plaridel, Guiguinto, City of San Jose Del Monte, Hagonoy, and Bocaue police. The Bulacan PNP has strengthened its efforts to fight crime and uphold public safety in the province in accordance with the directives of Central Luzon police regional director Brig.Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr.Â
