19,000 jobs up for grabs in Pangasinan Labor Day jobs fair

DAGUPAN CITY â€“ Here's a piece of good news for Pangasinenses who are seeking jobs here and abroad. A total of 19,000 job vacancies for local and overseas employment will be offered by more than 100 companies during the Labor Day jobs fair on May 1, Monday. Justin Paul Marbella, information officer of the Department of Labor and Employment-Region 1, said the jobs fair will be held in three places in Pangasinan, at the PESO Multi-purpose Hall in Lingayen; Orbos Gym in Poblacion Norte, Santa Barbara, and at the event center of Magic Mall in Urdaneta City. According to Marbella, DOLE-Region 1 has already listed a total of 17,237 local job vacancies and 2,058 employment overseas pooled from 89 local employers and 11 from overseas as of April 26. Most of the jobs on offer are customer service representatives, production operators, microfinance officers, service crews, and sales representatives. DOLE is reminding all jobseekers to bring with them multiple copies of their resumes and pre-register using the links posted in the DOLE-Region 1 official Facebook page.
