Red Velvet's Joy to be absent from Manila concert due to poor health

Joy, a member of K-pop girl group Red Velvet, will not be attending their concert in Manila next month due to poor health.  The group will be holding their “'Red Velvet 4th Concert: R to V” in Manila on May 7 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.  Red Velvet (Twitter)

The announcement by Pulp Live World regarding Joy's absence in the Manila concert (Pulp Live World)
On April 26, concert promoter Pulp Live World announced Joy’s absent in the Manila leg of the concert.  “Please be informed that Joy will not be able to participate in the 'Red Velvet 4th Concert: R to V in MANILA due to health condition,” it said.  It added, “Therefore, 4 members will participate in 'Red Velvet 4th Concert: R to V' in MANILA concert as scheduled. We ask for your kind understanding.”

Here is the announcement of SM Entertainment, Red Velvet's agency, regarding Joy's health condition:

"Hello. this is SM Entertainment. "We would like to inform you about the health condition of Red Velvet's JOY and her participation in future events. "JOY recently visited the hospital due to poor physical condition and after examination and consultation. received medical advice that treatment and rest are needed. "Therefore, JOY plans to take a break and focus on recovering for the time being without participating in any schedules. "We apologize for causing concerns to the fans, and we ask for your generous understanding that the decision was made after sufficient discussion for JOY's wellness. "We will do our best to help JOY meet the fans again in good health and we will inform you as soon as the decision for JOY's return is made. "Thank you."
