The botanical garden features a wide variety of plants and trees from around the country.

Aguilar said the place has become a hub for tourists and students looking to learn about new techniques and technologies in sustainable agriculture which are a part of the city government’s "Halina at Magtanim ng Prutas” (HAPAG) program.

Being one of the city’s tourist attractions, the botanical garden is regularly maintained by the City Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO).

She said the garden was opened to the public in 2021 but was closed on February 2022 for renovation. It now has a  Voltes 5 robot which has become a favorite of children.
