Drug den in Nueva Ecija dismantled; P88,000 shabu seized

GENERAL TINIO, Nueva Ecija – Authorities dismantled a makeshift drug den and arrested two siblings and their nephew in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pulong Matong here on Tuesday night, April 25. Suspects were identified as Jeffrey Gutierrez, Janren Gutierrez, and Jasper Adrian Gutierrez. They yielded five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 13 grams of shabu suspected shabu valued at P88,400, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money. Seized drug evidence will be forwarded to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Luzon Laboratory for forensic examination. Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
