SANTO TOMAS CITY, Batangas – A convenience store was robbed of P191,000 cash before dawn on Tuesday, April 25, in Barangay San Pedro here.
Police said the Alfamart convenience store was being manned by the cashier and store auxiliary when two men wearing face masks, green and black jackets, about 5’2” to 5’4” in height, and maong pants on board a hatchback-style car arrived.
Suspects entered the store and declared a holdup. They ordered the cashier to open the vault at gunpoint and carted away sales amounting to P191,000.
They fled towards the direction of Lipa City, Batangas.
Police are backtracking surveillance footage and conducting follow-up investigation.
