2 Chinese men nabbed for illegal detention in Parañaque City

Two Chinese men were arrested by members of the Parañaque City Police Tambo Substation during a rescue operation for a detained man on Tuesday, April 25.   According to the report of the Southern Police District (SPD), the arrested suspects were identified as Wenlong Huang, 29, and Weiming Shi, 26.   Police said suspects were arrested at around 12:20 p.m. at Golden Age Spa located at Bradco Avenue, Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.   Based on the police report, the suspects detained the victim identified as Tang Deshui, who borrowed P300,000 from them after losing money at a casino.   The suspects reportedly demanded the victim to pay them in exchange for his release.   A friend of the victim reported the detention of Deshui to the police.   The police immediately conducted a rescue operation after receiving the complaint, resulting in the arrest of the suspects.   The suspects were brought to the Parañaque City Police custodial facility. Appropriate charges will be filed against them.
