168 nabbed in weeklong anti-crime operations in Rizal province

A total of 168 persons were arrested during the simultaneous anti-criminality operations of the Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) last week.
In his report to newly designated regional director of Region 4-A Police Office, Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces, Rizal PPO director Col. Dominic Baccay said the “Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO)" was conducted from April 15 to 21 in various parts of the province.
Of the total number of arrested persons, 78 suspects were nabbed by virtue of arrest warrants, 20 of them were listed as most wanted.
Some 115.4 grams of suspected shabu and a gram of marijuana, with a total estimated value of P782,392, were seized from 43 persons during 29 anti-illegal drugs operations in the province.
In the campaign against illegal gambling, various police stations have arrested 43 persons.
Four individuals were apprehended during four operations against loose firearms.
All the arrested suspects are now detained and have been charged for their respective crimes.
