Michelle Dee marks 28th birthday in a hospital

Model-beauty queen-actress Michelle Dee was rushed to the hospital recently coinciding with her 28th birthday. Apparently, she needed surgery in relation to a condition she didn't disclose. On Instagram, Michelle said the Universe has shown her the "importance" of "pacing herself" and "focusing" on her "true priorities." "I'll keep moving forward with self-care, pursuing my passions, and appreciating life's precious moments," she wrote on April 24. "Thank you for all your well wishes and greetings!"
On Twitter, Michelle revealed she just got out of the operating room the night of her birthday. The daughter of Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez and former action star Derek Dee is currently competing in this year's Miss Universe Philippines. Last year, she joined the beauty pageant and finished second to Celeste Cortesi. Michelle was crowned Miss World Philippines 2019 and was able to make it into the Top 12 during the international contest.
