Kim Chiu updates fans on sisters' condition

Kim Chiu shared some good news to fans via social media. Her sister Lakam is now recovering. In a post, Kim updated, "Thank you for all your prayers for my ate Lakam. Sory I wasn't able to reply to each one of you. She is out of ICU last night. She is transferred to a normal room. We are waiting for her consciousness to regain. Maraming salamat po for praying. Tuloy lang sana po tayo sa pagdadasal. Thank you po sa inyong lahat."

On Tuesday, Kim shared how she finally had "the best sleep after a week of sleepless nights." Apparently, after spending much of her day praying, her sister called her, asking "what happened." Kim could only be too happy to hear her sister's voice again.

"Truly faith is the most powerful weapon we all have," she said. "Thak you Lord. My ate is slowly recovering day by day." According to Kim, her sister's doctors were surprised how quickly she recovered, deeming it a "miracle."

She didn't disclose the cause of her sister's hospitalization.
