Fernando, Castro lead closing ceremony of Bulacan PNP Sportsfest

Governor Daniel R. Fernando and Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro led the closing ceremony of the Bulacan Sportsfest 2023 on Monday, April 24, inside Camp General Alejo Santos, the Bulacan Provincial Police Office (PPO) in the City of Malolos said. The highlights of the event was the awarding of prizes and trophies to the winning teams and individuals. The annual sportsfest was participated in by the police stations in four cities and 20 municipalities in the province of Bulacan. Fernando congratulated the winning teams that participated in the Bulacan PPO Sportsfest 2023 which carried the theme "Lakas ng Katawan, Talas ng Isipan." He said the sports competition was aimed at promoting camaraderie, a healthy lifestyle, and awareness. According to Fernando, a sportsfest is important in developing the talent and skills of every policeman in Bulacan, as this will give him additional strength and capability in performing his duties. He requested Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, and chiefs of police of the four cities and 20 municipalities, their men and women, to be vigorous in carrying out their mission of protecting the peace and order in the province.
