PRO-13 nabs 74 wanted persons, 99 law violators in 6-day SACLEO
CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The Police Regional Office (PRO)-13 nabbed 74 wanted persons and 99 law violators during a six-day Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) from April 18 to 23.
PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Pablo G. Labra II said 12 were most wanted persons on the regional level, three on the provincial level, and eight on the city and municipal level.
Fifty-one other wanted persons were also arrested.
Of the 99 law violators, 26 were apprehended for illegal drugs, 32 for illegal gambling, 33 for illegal fishing, two for loose firearms, and six for illegal logging.
Thirty-seven loose firearms were confiscated and surrendered.
In the campaign against illegal drugs, 144.7796 grams of suspected shabu worth P984,501.28 and 1,774.33 board feet of undocumented logs worth P62,421 were seized.
“We keep the momentum in the implementation of special laws and the service of warrants of arrest against those sought by the law as part of our more aggressive police operations,” Labra said.
“These accomplishments are brought by all our personnel from the unit commanders down to the non-uniformed personnel who consider their positions as vehicles for genuine public service,” he added.
Labra thanked all stakeholders, especially members of the Judiciary and other law enforcement agencies, for their efforts in the success of the SACLEO.
Suspects came from five provinces and six cities in the Caraga region.
