Parañaque LGU, DOLE distribute 'kabuhayan packages' to tricycle drivers
The Parañaque City government, in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), distributed "kabuhayan packages" worth P150,000 to members of the Maywood Savvy Tricycle Owners and Drivers Association (MASATODA) on Monday, April 24.
The turnover of the packages, held at the Parañaque City Hall grounds, was led by Mayor Eric Olivarez with DOLE MunTaParLas Field Office Director Leonides “Jun” P. Castillon Jr., City Administrator Atty. Voltaire Dela Cruz, and City Treasurer Dr. Anthony Pulmano.

The kabuhayan packages were personally received by MASATODA President Lucita Puente. Olivarez said the kabuhayan packages from DOLE's Integrated Livelihood Program aimed to provide livelihood assistance to residents belonging to marginalized groups. The packages given to MASATODA included different tricycle spare parts and accessories needed by association members.
