P110,000 illegal drugs seized, 13 wanted nabbed in Region 9

ZAMBOANGA CITY – The Police Regional Office-9 seized nearly P110,000 worth of illegal drugs during the one-day Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) from Saturday to Sunday, April 21 to April 22, in the Zamboanga Peninsula.
ALINSANGAN Police Brig. Gen. Neil Alinsangan, PRO-9 director, said 11 buy-bust operations were conducted and 16 grams of shabu were seized. Five warrants of arrest were served and 13 persons, five of whom were tagged as most wanted person, were nabbed. The SACLEO is geared towards the reduction of crime and maintaining peace and order in the region, said Alinsangan.
