Keep observing health protocols, get vaccinated vs Covid – Parañaque Mayor Olivarez
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez renewed calls for residents to keep observing the minimum public health protocols and receive the Covid-19 vaccines in order to prevent the spread of the virus in the city.
The mayor posted the reminder after the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF-EID) placed Metro Manila under Alert Level 1 from April 15 to 30.
Olivarez said residents, especially those who are still unvaccinated, may coordinate with their respective barangay health centers to be inoculated against Covid-19.
The City Health Office (CHO) has also published an advisory stating that the general adult population, aged 18 years old and above, are now eligible to receive a second booster shot, after its approval by the Department of Health (DOH).
Olivarez encouraged residents to avail of the second booster shot via their CHO and health centers.
