2 drug suspects nabbed; P91K 'shabu' seized in Calamba

LAGUNA – Police authorities arrested two street-level individuals in buy-bust operations in Calamba City on Saturday, April 22. The Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) said the first operation was conducted at 6:05 p.m. in Barangay Turbina, where a suspect identified as alias Charlene was arrested. The police confiscated suspected “shabu” with an estimated street value of P43,180 from the operation. The second sting operation in Barangay Real netted a drug suspect identified as alias Joey. The suspects are now under the custody of Calamba City Police Station (CPS) and are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The confiscated pieces of evidence were submitted to the crime laboratory for forensic examination.
