Student busted for P722,000 marijuana in Quirino

DIFFUN, Quirino – A 22-year-old student was nabbed and yielded suspected marijuana worth P722,000 in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Andres Bonifacio here on Saturday, April 22. Authorities identified the suspect as “Ryan,” a resident of Barangay Lutuad, this town. Seized from the suspect, a high-value individual, were a bottle containing marijuana oil, two self-sealing transparent plastic sachets containing dried marijuana leaves, two packs of dried marijuana leaves wrapped in brown paper, pack of marijuana leaves wrapped in white paper, and four bricks of dried marijuana leaves with total weight of more or less six kilos. Total estimated market value was P720,000. Suspect and the confiscated items were brought to the Diffun police station. He will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022.
