Ronnie Liang performs at inaugural ‘Konsyerto sa Palasyo’

Singer and reservist Ronnie Liang performed at the very first "Konsyerto sa Palasyo" held at the Malacañang Palace Grounds to honor the men and women in uniform on Saturday night.

Called "Konsyerto sa Palasyo: Awit ng Magiting", this occasion pays tribute to AFP for its sacrifices in upholding the sovereignty, peace, and security of the country.

The army reservist continued, “I am truly grateful to President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr.(Our Commander in Chief), First Lady Liza Marcos, and the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) for inviting me to be part of this momentous occasion. It is an honor to be part of a concert that not only honors our AFPs but also provides some respite to their families and showcases new and young talented Filipino artists.”

He added, “It was also a pleasure to see and be recognized by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin Jr. and his wife, whom I had known a long time ago, as well as my good friend and mentor in Philippine Army, PSG Chief BGen. Demy Zagala.”

The event was attended by other celebrities, government officials, former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, vice president Sara Duterte, first lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and president Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
