From becoming a Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate to starring in their series, Marco Gallo and Heaven Paralejo are taking things to the next level. 

Playing as Luna and Kalix on the hit university Wattpad series 'The Rain in España' by Gwy Saludes, Marco and Heaven couldn't hide their excitement about working together on the series. 

During the grand media conference at the Matrix creation events in Quezon City last April 19, Marco shared how their relationship grew after their time in PBB. 

"If people watched PBB, like our batch, I did like her at the time, and we lost track of each other. I did recognize her at the same time, but it was like a matured version of her," Marco said.

After their announcement as the lead cast for the series adaptation last Nov 2022, the two have been close and sharing their sweet moments on social media.

According to director Theodore Boborol, before having their shooting days he always teases the two because of their old PBB videos that were appearing online. 

'Tinutukso ko na sila before the start of the shoot kasi nung in-announce na sila yung cast (ng The Rain in España), lumalabas yung mga PBB video clip nila nung teenager pa sila,' Director Theodore mentioned. 

(I teased them before the start of the shoot because when they announced the cast (of The Rain in España), their PBB video clips from when they were teenagers came out.) 

Heaven also mentioned that it would have been a different feeling if Marco wasn't her on-screen partner in the series. 

'Kung iba po ang kapartner ko, siguro may kulang. Siya kasi talagang inaalagaan niya rin ako at saka yung show po so I’m really happy to work with Marco,' Heaven said.

(If my partner is different, maybe something is missing. Because he really takes care of me, and aside from the show, I'm really happy to work with Marco) 

When asked about their current status, Marco gave his full assurance that they are taking it slowly for now.

'Probably, maybe. Whatever it is, I’m gonna take it slow.' Marco mentioned.

Aside from Heaven and Marco, 'The Rain in España' also features Bea Binene, Gab Lagman, Andre Yllana, Krissha Viaje, Frost Sandoval, and more. Directed by Theodore Boborol, the ten episodes will stream on Viva One starting on May 1.
