Kenaniah, one of this year’s breakthrough male OPM artists, released a new track titled “Hanggang Sa Buwan” under O/C Records.

The 18-year-old viral hitmaker’s latest single is the official theme song of Viva One’s upcoming series, 'The Rain in España,' an adaptation of the hit novel by Gwy Saludes.

Composed by Martin Riggs together with the book author herself, Saludes, and produced by Kean Cipriano, 'Hanggang Sa Buwan' is inspired by the love story of the main characters in the series, Luna and Kalix or more popular to its readers as #LuKal, portrayed by Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo, respectively, in the series adaptation.

'I wrote the song in the perspective of Kalix and his love for Luna,' says Saludes, who is also a talent from O/C’s artist management arm, O/C Artist House.

'Hanggang Sa Buwan' marks the first time for Kenaniah to interpret a song from different songwriters, after making hit songs such as 'Better Now,' 'Hindi Ikaw,' and recently, 'Bahala Na' that already has 35 million streams on Spotify.

'The Rain in España' premieres May 1 on the new streaming platform Viva One of the Viva Entertainment, Inc.
