Ex-NPA fighter yields in Nueva Vizcaya

AMBAGUIO, Nueva Vizcaya – A former member of the New People’s Army Regional Guerrilla Unit surrendered to the police here on Saturday, April 22. The surrenderer told police that he was one of those who harassed the Kiangan police station in Ifugao, ambushed the military in Lamut, Ifugao, and harassed the Sadanga police station in Mountain Province. He denounced NPA deception and expressed desired to live a peaceful life. The Ambaguio police and other law enforcement units facilitated his surrender. They urged the community not to support the NPA, including any of its allied organizations.
