Drug gang leader nabbed in Baguio, yields P238,000 shabu

BAGUIO CITY – The alleged leader of a drug group listed as a high-value individual (HVI) was arrested and P238,000 worth of shabu was confiscated in a buy-operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera in Lower Magsaysay here  on Friday, April 21. The suspect was identified as Allan Sunga Nider, 54, of Barangay Lower Magsaysay. He was listed as the PDEA  Top 1 regional target drug personality, Top 7 HVI city level, Top 3 PDEA unified target list, and a leader of drug group Al-lan. PDEA operatives backed up by the Baguio police  conducted the operation in the presence of Barangay Kagawad Ricardo Rodriguez of Barangay P. Burgos and Prosecutor Bernard Angeles. Nider yielded eight plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 35.02 grams with a standard drug price of P238,136 and one plastic sachet containing suspected marijuana leaves weighing 0.64 grams worth P76.80.
